CelticLG and crew (DonMontae, itsmb8, Sapp, Permatron and DancyHercules) are back with the Ultimate Attention To Detail roster for NBA 2K20 on the PS4. The roster tackles every aspect you can think of and would want in your basketball game. Read below as CelticLG gives us a breakdown of everything changed and fixed in the roster.

[1] Tendencies overhaul, with all of them updated, we hope to give you the most realistic experience as possible (more details):
[1.1] Shot and touch tendencies updated based on player’impact on offense
[1.2] Shot close/mid/3pt corrected based on real life shot shot distrubution in order to have less close shots (this prevents 4-feet jumpers) and mid-range shots (excluding specialists) with more three pointers
[1.3] Pullups, stepbacks (mid and 3pt), floaters, alley oops (dunks and passes) have been tracked and corrected based on attempted on 36 minuts by the players
[1.4] Eurostep, hopstep and stepthrough all updated based on the tendency by the players to use them IRL
[1.5] Drive tendencies corrected with a new scale and a generale decrease in order to stop the CPU from driving every possession
[1.6] Dunk tendencies reworked
[1.7] New “Use glass” tendency based on the % of bank shots attempted
[1.8] New alley-oop (pass and dunk) tendencies
[1.9] Triple Threat Jab, Pump Fake, & Idle all globally scaled using 50 scale
[1.10] All Players & teams Size Up’s scaled to 100 between Size Up – Hesitation – No Set Up Move in order to have less random dribbling
[1.11] Dribble tendencies reworked in order to assure better game flow
[1.12] Dish to the open tendency rescaled and globally increased for more drive-and-kicks and extra-pass situations
[1.13] “Spot Up vs Cut” tendency reworked, now players will behave correctly in transition situations, shooters will stay behind the arc while bigs will attack the rim
[1.14] “RollvsPop” tendency rescaled based on Pick&Roll and Pick&Pop situations played
[1.15] Iso tendencies are now based on real-life isolation stats
[1.16] All post up tendencies updated
[1.17] Hook and fade-away shots tracked, rescaled and fixed to turn to the shoulder of the player not the hand (these tendencies are backwards)
[1.18] Charge, foul and shot contest tendency updated and generally increased
[1.19] Steal and block tendency rescaled based on real-life stats

[2] Badges corrections: all of them have been assigned to a maximum of 15-20 players per badge, in order to create better separation between specialists and the rest of the players. The OP badges (worm, rebound chaser, downhill, quick first step and others) that ruins gameplay and/or sim stats have also been removed

[3] Playbooks corrections: more than 300 real-life plays have been added to the various playbooks of the teams (based on system, freelance and style of the players). All teams have 50 plays now. We’ve made sure to have perfectly balanced playbooks, with a good variety of plays, repairing the errors left in the default ones (Sixers with no post-ups, Pelicans with no 3pt plays, etc)

[4] Play-types have been updated (and placed on correct order) based on Synergy’s data, now all the players have assigned their real-life style of plays

[5] Real life staff (coaches and assistants, GMs, trainers, scouts) with grades, badges and play-styles all updated

[6] All injuries of players during their careers have been broken down according to body parts (yeah, it took a long time) allowing us to update all the durability attributes based on the injuries that the players suffered

[7] All transactions are update to the last day of the NBA Season before it was stopped (March 12th)

[8] Hot zones upated for all the players with at least 100 shots this year (+ we used last year data for players that haven’t stepped on the court this year like Durant, Wall or Nurkic)

[9] Attributes corrections:
[9.1] Driving layup/shot close/mid/3pt updated for all the players based on the last 2 years
[9.2] Rebounds attribute updated
[9.3] Stamina corrected all around the league

[9.5] Help defense IQ global fix
[9.6] …

[10] Accessories and shoes updated for all the players in the league (all credit to DancyHercules3), with also corrected frequencies

[11] Peak start/end corrected for all the player in order to assure more MyLeague stability and better progression/regression through years

[12] Play for win, financial security and loyalty updated for all the player in order to resemble their contracts requests (veterans will take the 1-year minimum contracts, low rated players will go to the team that pays them more, players out of their rookie scale will try to secure the bag)

[13] Potentials are corrected in order to have more stability and balance during MyLeague’s future seasons, reducing the huge number of 80+ OVR players that showed up after a few years of simulation

[14] Coaching sliders and POEs updated for better gameplay, rotations and sim stats

[15] Over 100 positions corrections

[16] Over 80 contracts corrections (team/player options, non guaranteed salaries, incorrect amount of money)

[17] All 30 teams rotations updated

[18] Ton of work on sim stats in order to assure the best experience possible (credit to Sapp)

[19] Play-initiatior corrections all around the league in order to have only real ball handler to call plays and handle the ball

About MyLeague sliders: I’ve used Schnaidt’s sliders as base, and edited the simulation stats part, and the contract sliders. Feel free to use another type of sliders if you prefer, but remember to keep the same values for simulation sliders and contracts sliders (very important)
